What’s happening now? Updated 8/19/2020

Brief night activity for striping and intersection markings -- During late August and early September, you may see crews working at night applying striping and intersection markings on new pavement. This work has been authorized to occur in neighborhoods at night when pavement temperatures are lower. On busier streets, this allows the moving operation to occur under less traffic. The work is brief and noise is limited.

Update 8/5/2020

Expect brief travel delays on both Country Club Road and Meadows Road

  • Country Club Road/Iron Mtn/C Ave/Bayberry intersection paving is scheduled to occur Friday, August 7. Country Club Road will be open, with some lanes closed. Travelers from Bayberry or C Avenue will need to use an alternate route to access Country Club. Expect delays.
  • Work in Meadows Road on manhole and related repairs will cause some lane closures, day and night, beginning August 7 and lasting a few days. The road will always remain open.

Paving in First Addition and some streets in Evergreen Neighborhood continues.

  • Expect road closures of active paving areas. Use alternate routes to move around the neighborhood. This will change frequently as multiple crews work their way through the neighborhood. Curb ramp upgrades continue and include concrete removal and pouring.
  • Work areas shift every day. Be aware of traffic signage and avoid streets if you have an alternate route.
  • On paving days, sections of streets are closed to all traffic. If you have access needs, contact us.
  • Watch for door hangers for exact dates of closures near you and “no parking” signs as crews move around the area.

Slurry sealing is complete. Final clean up happening.

  • Approximately 75 streets received a slurry seal in July.
  • Crews are inspecting the roads and sweeping up loose rock.
  • Later in the summer, crews will be applying final striping of these roads, as needed.
