Arbor Month Art Contest

Wildlife in the Urban Forest

In celebration of Lake Oswego Arbor Month and the 150th Anniversary of National Arbor Day, and in honor of 33 years of Tree City USA status, the City hosted a tree and wildlife themed art contest for K-5th students residing in Lake Oswego. Students created TREErific works of art featuring insects, amphibians, birds, and mammals in the urban forest. The contest closed on Sunday, April 24, 2022 and three prize winners were selected in each of two grade divisions, kindergarten through second grade and third through fifth grade. Prizes will be awarded at the Lake Oswego Farmers’ Market on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. Click here to view all the entries or stop by Lake Oswego City Hall or the Lake Oswego Public Library to see the entries on display throughout the month of May.
