PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE - COMMERCIAL CODE AMENDMENTS
Thursday, May 26, 2016, from 6:30-8 p.m.
City Hall Council Chambers
380 A Avenue
Lake Oswego, OR 97034
The Commercial Code Streamlining project is part of the City’s on-going effort to make the Community Development Code (CDC) clearer, more predictable, and more usable for residents, businesses, and City staff. The project involves amendments to the Commercial, Mixed Use, Industrial, and Special Use Table (LOC Table 50.03.002-2), ensuring that commercial standards implement the Comprehensive Plan and the recently adopted Southwest Employment Area Plan.
City planners will present a Public Review Draft of the code amendments at a meeting on May 26, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions as a group. The public will have until June 14 to submit written comments on the Draft before it is revised for a Planning Commission work session tentatively scheduled for June 27. The Planning Commission will also consider comments received at the work session. The purpose of the Public Review Draft and Planning Commission work session is to help the City identify any needed changes to the proposal prior to the Planning Commission conducting a public hearing on it this summer.
We hope to see you at the open house!
