LU 17-0050: Comprehensive Plan Map and Zoning Map Amendments for Property Located at 2311 Iron Mountain Blvd.

Project Description

An amendment to the Comprehensive Plan Map and Zoning Map from residential single-family “R-15” (15,000 sq. ft. area per unit) to Park and Natural Area (PNA).  This change will achieve consistency with the Comprehensive Plan Map and Zoning Map designations surrounding this property that are already zoned PNA.



On Tuesday, November 7, 2017, the Council approved the proposed amendments and enacted Ordinance 2759.

The Planning Commission considered the proposed amendment at a public hearing on September 25, 2017.  No individuals testified at the hearing and no written testimony was submitted.  The Commission made a final recommendation that the City Council approve the proposed amendment as written in the staff report.  The public hearing before the City Council is scheduled for Tuesday, November 7, 2017.

Note: Materials exempt under the Oregon Public Records Law, ORS 192.501 and 192.502 may be withheld from public review of the Case File; such materials are NOT a part of the “record” before the reviewing authority in determining whether or not the proposed development complies with the applicable criteria.
