LU 19-0039: Community Development Code Amendments Related to Traffic Management Requirements
The City is currently reviewing LOC 50.02.002.2.d Traffic Management Requirements for Specific Locations (Kruse Way Corridor). The purpose of this project is to recommend code amendments removing conflicts between and redundancies with other city code requirements for traffic management and transportation impact analyses.

On December 17, 2019, in a joint meeting with the Planning Commission, the Council received a staff presentation and directed staff and the Commission to prepare amendments to LOC 50.02.002.2.d. The amendments are to remove code conflicts and provide best practices for traffic management.

Update #1
On July 22, staff provided an update on the traffic analysis recently completed in response to a request from the Waluga Neighborhood Association and relating to the Community Development Code Traffic Management Requirements for Specific Locations (LOC 50.02.002.2.d). No action was taken, though as requested, amendment of LOC 50.02.002.2.d has been removed from the list 2019 Annual CDC Amendments pending City Council direction.
