Neighborhood Mailing Postcard Request

Neighborhood Associations (NAs) can request a postcard mailing for meetings, events, public notices, or community outreach using our online request form. Here's what you need to know before you start.

Before You Begin

Have the following information ready:

  • Your contact details — name, phone number, and email
  • Your Neighborhood Association (not sure which one you're in? Look it up here)
  • Event or meeting details — contact name, email, phone, date, time, and location
  • Postcard message — up to 200 characters (front) — note that hard returns and line breaks won't carry over, so keep your message to a single flowing block of text
  • Optional short message — up to 25 characters
  • Your desired mailing date
  • Paper color preference — Blue, Canary, Green, Ivory, or White (subject to availability)

Key Requirements

  • Submit at least 4 weeks before your event or desired mailing date.
  • Neighborhood Associations are limited to two (2) mailings per fiscal year.
  • All postcards will use the City's official return address: P.O. Box 369, Lake Oswego, OR 97034.
  • All postcards will use black text only — no color text.
  • All mailings are subject to Planning Manager review and approval.
  • Submitting a request does not guarantee mailing until all requirements are met.

Insurance Requirement

The Neighborhood Coalition of Lake Oswego (NCLO) provides liability insurance at no cost to recognized Lake Oswego neighborhood associations for meetings and events. To be covered, your NA must have a completed application on file — one application can cover recurring meetings held at the same time and location each month.

It is each Neighborhood Association's responsibility to ensure insurance coverage is in place.
