Periodic Review

The goals and policies of the Lake Oswego’s Comprehensive Plan are intended to guide the community in making decisions. The Plan is intended for use by all those who have concerns with the City’s land use planning process; local officials, persons with development interests, state, regional and federal agencies, neighborhood and community groups, and citizens of all interests.

We Love Lake Oswego: Planning for People, Places and Prosperity is a citywide project to envision the community’s desired future for Lake Oswego in 2035, and outline the policies and steps to get us there.  The project will result in a plan that depicts in words and images what the community is striving to become. The Plan will be created, owned and implemented over many years by residents, businesses, community organizations, City Staff and City Council. At its best, it will inspire pride and commitment to realizing the future it describes. The project will plan for the community’s present needs while ensuring that Lake Oswego sustains a high quality of life for future generations.

Please note that due to technical difficulties, the We Love Lake Oswego website is no longer being updated.  As of July 25, 2013, Comprehensive Plan Update-Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) packet material is posted on the City's main website.  Specific meetings pages can be accessed using the City Online Calendar.
