PP 21-0002: Boones Ferry Road Affordable Housing Initiative
In June 21, 2022, the City Council approved an intergovernmental agreement (IGA) with Metro to sell the Boones Ferry Road Construction Staging property (1.4 acres at the southwest corner of Boones Ferry Road and West Sunset Drive) for development of affordable housing. The Council also approved a separate IGA with Metro and the Housing Authority of Clackamas County (HACC) for the purposes of preparing a solicitation for development proposals, with the goal of issuing a solicitation in early 2023.

December 2022
On December 20, 2022, the City Council approved a Request for Qualifications for developers prepared by Metro. November 2022
Metro completed a stakeholder engagement process with support by the City and HACC during the summer and fall of 2022 to aid in the development of the solicitation. Specifically, the engagement helped identify values and priorities for the development project focusing on the needs of current and future city residents and the surrounding community.
