“Reminder: Learn About Development Code Updates from 4-6 p.m.” Thursday, May 15, 4-6 p.m.
The City is proposing updates to the Community Development Code and needs your feedback. On Thursday, May 15, Planning staff will host an informational meeting to provide an overview and answer questions about the following Code updates:
- Annual Code Updates: Amendments for the purpose of clarifying and updating various code provisions.
- Nonconformities and Variances: Amendments that are intended to streamline and simplify sections of the Code that allow adjustments or variances to code standards and regulate nonconforming structures and uses.
- Clear and Objective Housing Standards: Amendments that would bring the Code into compliance with State requirements for clear and objective housing approval standards, intended to reduce unnecessary costs and delays in permitting needed housing.

Presentations at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. with an opportunity for questions and discussion with staff following each session.
