Tree Protection & Removal Workshop
Join Lake Oswego Urban & Community Forestry for a free workshop regarding the City’s tree code requirements for tree protection and tree removal permits, including minor and major forest management permits for large forested parcels. The workshop includes an indoor presentation and outdoor demonstration with examples of measuring tree diameter, tree protection fencing, techniques for protecting trees during construction, and more. City contract arborist Morgan Holen, code enforcement specialist Bill Youngblood, and associate planner Evan Fransted will co-lead the workshop.
The workshop will be held this Thursday, July 30, from 6-7 pm at City Hall, 380 A Avenue, in Council Chambers on the first floor. Pre-registration is requested; please call 503-635-0290 to register.
