On Thursday August 28, join Lake Oswego Urban & Community Forestry for a workshop on tree protection and tree removal. We’ll explore the City’s tree code requirements for tree protection and tree removal permits. The workshop will include an indoor presentation and outdoor demonstration with examples of measuring tree diameter, tree protection fencing, techniques for protecting trees during construction, and more. City contract arborist Morgan Holen, code enforcement specialist Bill Youngblood, and associate planner Evan Fransted will co-lead the workshop.
The workshop will be 6-7:30pm on August 28, and will be held in the Santiam Room of the West End Building, at 4101 Kruse Way. Pre-registration is requested so we know how many treats to provide. Pre-register by contacting Shannan Stoll at 503-675-3737 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
