Distracted Driving Campaign

Friday, April 9, 2021 - 2:00pm to 6:00pm

April is National Distracted Driving Month

To help raise awareness about the dangers of distracted driving, the Lake Oswego Police Department (LOPD) has partnered with the Oregon Department of Transportation and Oregon Impact, and will be increasing its enforcement efforts to focus on distracted driving.

LOPD will be conducting an enforcement detail on Friday, April 9, from 2 to 6 p.m. It will be conducted within the Boones Ferry Road construction zone during the first half of the event and then it will conclude on State Street near B Avenue. This enforcement detail is funded by a traffic safety grant.
