Eight Arrested In Human Sex Trafficking Mission
LAKE OSWEGO – On Thursday, March 23, 2023, the Lake Oswego Police Department conducted a human sex trafficking mission with the assistance of the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, Oregon City Police, Milwaukie Police, and Sandy Police. During the operation, decoys (law enforcement officers) were contacted by men who offered to pay money in exchange for the decoys to perform requested sexual acts. Eight men ultimately responded and agreed to meet with the decoys. The men were subsequently arrested and charged with the relevant crimes. In Clackamas County, sex buyers are sometimes eligible for diversion programs where they attend educational training. The training highlights the impact the buyers have on the lives of the victims of sex trafficking, with the end goal of reducing the demand for sex trafficking.
The following seven men were cited and released for Commercial Sexual Solicitation (ORS 167.008):
- Stephen R Berry (12/11/84) of Portland, OR
- Maximilien Aquitaine (9/4/98) of Hillsboro, OR
- Austin L. Olson (8/8/96) of Federal Way, WA
- Vincent S. Namauleg (2/18/92) of Tualatin, OR
- German D. Pascual (7/31/75) of Tualatin, OR
- Jake R. Walt (12/28/95) of Fontana, CA
- Erik J Bjorman (7/8/83) of Oregon City, OR
Terrance A. Schloth (1/11/71) of Gresham, OR initially gave a false name and refused to identify himself. As a result, he was lodged at the Clackamas County Jail in order to get a positive identification. He was charged for Commercial Sexual Solicitation (ORS 167.008) and the additional charge of Giving False Information to a Peace Officer in Connection with a Citation (ORS 162.385).
