Lake Oswego Police Investigate DUII Crash With Serious Injuries

LAKE OSWEGO- On Sunday, August 17, 2025, at about 7:40 pm, a DUII traffic crash occurred on Lakeview Boulevard at Pilkington Road resulting in serious injuries.

A caller reported an intoxicated subject had just left the Lake Grove Swim Park, on Lakeview Boulevard in Lake Oswego, driving a blue sedan. A short while later, an officer found the car driving the wrong way in the 3000 block of Lakeview Boulevard through the construction area, which was down to one lane. He was initially able to get the driver to stop and he contacted her, but then she drove around his patrol vehicle and sped off at a high rate of speed toward South Shore Boulevard.

It took the officer a while to get turned around on the narrow one-way road to go after the car and, when he did, he was unable to locate it. Less than a minute later, Lake Oswego Communications (LOCOM) received multiple 911 calls reporting a serious crash on Lakeview Boulevard at Pilkington Road. When officers arrived, they discovered that one of the vehicles involved in the crash was the blue sedan that fled from police.

The woman in the blue sedan was a 26-year-old Silverton woman. She sustained serious, non-life-threatening injuries in the crash and was transported to an area hospital for treatment of her injuries. She has not yet been charged.

The two occupants of the other vehicle were transported to an area hospital where they remain in critical condition.

The crash is being investigated with assistance from the Clackamas County Crime Reconstruction And Forensics Team (CRAFT). Charges are likely to follow.
