Lake Oswego Police Officers participate in Shop with a Cop.
Earlier this month several Lake Oswego Police Officer's Participated in the annual "Shop with a Cop" program.
A total of 134 kids shopped (this included 13 from the Lake Oswego School District). The Clackamas County Peace Officer’s Benevolent Foundation raised the funds to support this, with a total spent of $13,950.57. Each child is given $100 and if they went over the $100 allocated, the officers usually offered to pick up the balance (a total of $450.57 out of the officer’s pockets!!).
Other Clackamas County agencies represented included West Linn PD, Oregon City PD, Gladstone PD, Milwaukie PD, Sandy/Estacada PD, Molalla PD, Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, Oregon State Police, Clackamas County Posse and Clackamas County Parole/Probation.
