We are excited to share that one of our newer officers, Jason Hull, graduated from the basic police academy on Friday, April 14, 2023. Graduation was the culmination of 16 weeks of training at the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST) basic police academy in Salem, Oregon, where trainees get their start learning the basics of policing. Officers Hull will now continue his field training where he will build upon the concepts and skills learned at the academy.

Jason Hull

Jason grew up in SE Portland with his parents (David and Andrea) and three siblings (McKenzie, Ryan, and Sam). Jason has a strong sense of family, putting them first in his life. He graduated from Portland State University with a Criminology and Criminal Justice degree. During his free time, Jason enjoys riding his bike, trips to the beach, and snowboarding in the winter. He is a die-hard University of Michigan fan. With an early interest in law enforcement, Jason decided he wanted to work for the Lake Oswego Police Department due to our strong commitment to community service.
