Officer Berry Graduates from Basic Academy

We are excited to share that one of our newer officers, Eryn Berry, graduated from the basic police academy on Friday, August 11, 2023. Graduation was the culmination of 16 weeks of training at the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST) basic police academy in Salem, Oregon, where she got her start learning the basics of policing. Officer Berry will now continue her field training where she will build upon the concepts and skills learned at the academy.

Eryn was born in Salem and later moved to the Portland area where she has lived since. She graduated from Clackamas Community College in 2021 with a degree in criminal justice. During her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time outdoors. She was hired by the City of Lake Oswego in 2021 as a Community Service Officer and she looks forward to further serving the community in this new role.
