Police Identify Suspect in Key Bank Robbery

LAKE OSWEGO – On Saturday, October 18, 2014, at 11:28 a.m., Lake Oswego Police responded to the Key Bank at 16210 Bryant Road for a robbery that had just occurred. The suspect used a note, did not display or imply a weapon, and did not injure anyone. He was given an undisclosed amount of money and fled the area on foot. Police used a K-9 to search for the suspect, but they were unable to locate him.

Detectives identified the suspect as 36-year-old Teddy Stivahtis, Jr. Stivahtis is also being sought in connection with a homicide case in Gresham and a bank robbery in Canby.

Stivahtis is described as a white male, 5‘9”, 165 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white cap, dark brown bulky leather jacket and jeans. He should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees him should call 911.
