  • LAKE OSWEGO – The Lake Oswego Police Department will be conducting underage alcohol sale operations throughout the city during the month of July. During the operations, underage decoys will be sent to businesses and attempt to purchase alcohol.

    LAKE OSWEGO – On September 18, 2013, John Gary Schrunk Jr. was sworn in as a police officer with the Lake Oswego Police Department after 17 years of running a construction business. He started the basic police academy on October 14, 2013 and was set to graduate on February 21, 2014. 

  • LAKE OSWEGO – In honor of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, all Clackamas County police departments are implementing a new domestic-violence response protocol to decrease domestic violence in Clackamas County.

  • LAKE OSWEGO – On Sunday, October 19, 2014, at about 11:18 a.m., kayakers found the body of a man floating in Oswego Lake near the address of 1940 Twin Point Road. They called 911 to report what they had found, and Lake Oswego police and fire personnel responded to the scene.

    LAKE OSWEGO – On Saturday, October 18, 2014, at 11:28 a.m., Lake Oswego Police responded to the Key Bank at 16210 Bryant Road for a robbery that had just occurred. The suspect used a note, did not display or imply a weapon, and did not injure anyone. He was given an undisclosed amount of money and fled the area on foot.
