Police Seek Help Locating Missing Dementia Patient

LAKE OSWEGO – Lake Oswego Police are asking for the public’s help locating a missing 82-year-old male with late-stage Alzheimer’s. The man, Gene Rosewater, is described as a white male, bald, 5'07 165 lbs, last seen wearing a brown plaid jacket, brown pants, and carrying a black Columbia Sportswear vest. Mr. Rosewater is also wearing a bracelet with his personal information on it. He walked away from his home at approximately 8:30 P.M. on Saturday, November 11, 2023.

We are asking the public in the area of Hallinan Elementary School, Marylhurst campus, George Rogers Park, and Glenmorrie Drive, to check their property – including outbuildings – to see if Mr. Rosewater may be there.

If you have any information as to the whereabouts of Mr. Rosewater, please contact the Lake Oswego Police Department at 503-635-0238. If you find Mr. Rosewater, please call 911 immediately.
