LAKE OSWEGO – On Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at about 7:35 P.M., an armed robbery occurred in front of the Peacock Cleaners, 15898 Boones Ferry Road Suite #A, in Lake Oswego. One suspect was arrested later that night, and police are asking for the public’s help in locating the second suspect.

The victim, an employee at the Peacock Cleaners, was outside the front doors locking up the store for the night when she was approached by two male adults. One of the men pointed a large machete at her and demanded her purse and keys. The victim turned over the items and the suspects fled the scene in a silver Mercedes sedan.

Later that evening, our partners at the Portland Police Bureau located the silver Mercedes in the City of Portland and detained a male adult who we have identified as one of the suspects from this incident. Lake Oswego Police detectives arrested that suspect, Steve C. Salmon (DOB: 12/22/1995), and lodged him at the Clackamas County Jail for Robbery 1 (ORS 164.415).

The second suspect has been identified as Shaquille L Brown (DOB: 4/27/1993), who is described as a 27-year-old Black male, 5’6”, 170 lbs., with black hair, and brown eyes. He has tattoos on the front and right side of his neck and was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt.

Police are asking anyone who has information as to the whereabouts of Mr. Brown to please call the Lake Oswego Police Department at (503) 635-0238.
