Reward Offered in Assault Investigation
LAKE OSWEGO - The Lake Oswego Police Department, in partnership with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help to identify the suspect involved in the brutal assault of a 74-year-old woman.
On Thursday, July 30, 2020, at about 11:00 p.m., a brutal assault occurred in the 2600 block of South Shore Boulevard in Lake Oswego. The 74-year-old female victim had just retrieved a package from her porch when she was attacked and brutally assaulted in her garage by a stranger. Fortunately, her husband discovered her in their garage shortly after the assault and summoned help. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The suspect is described as a 25 to 35-year-old white female with tanned skin, long brown naturally curly hair, 5'6" to 5'7" tall, 130 lbs., slender build, wearing a long-sleeved blue shirt and khaki pants.
Crime Stoppers of Oregon offers cash rewards of up to $2,500 cash for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in any unsolved felony crime, and tipsters can remain anonymous.
