LAKE OSWEGO, OR – On Friday, October 11, 2024, at 11:30 P.M., 47-year-old Lake Oswego resident, Brynne Logan was arrested for Robbery 1, Menacing, and Theft 3, after she robbed the Shell gas station at 16211 Boones Ferry Road.

Police responded to the incident at 6:49 P.M., when an employee at the Shell gas station called 911 to report that a woman had stolen some lighters while armed with a knife. The employee reported that the woman waved the knife at them in a threatening manner, and that it occurred 25-30 minutes prior to the call. The employee provided a description of the suspect, who officers recognized as someone they had dealt with several times earlier in the day. The responding officers recognized the behavior of the suspect appeared to be escalating, which in turn, created a concern for the safety of our community.

Officers responded to her address in the 4000 block of Oakridge Road and saw her inside her apartment. They tried calling out to her to get her to come outside, but she refused. Due to the risk to the public she posed, the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team responded to assist with taking her into custody.

Ultimately, Mrs. Logan exited the back door of her apartment and was taken into custody by the SWAT officers without incident. She was later lodged at the Clackamas County Jail.

We appreciate our partnership with the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office and their SWAT team, and we are grateful for their assistance resolving this incident peacefully.
