Solarize West Linn-Lake Oswego officially kicks off on Thursday, March 8. This is a community-led initiative to encourage residents of West Linn and Lake Oswego to take advantage of great solar pricing through bulk purchasing. Interested homeowners can visit the website www.solarizewllo.org/ to learn about this time-limited opportunity for installing solar electric and hot water systems at their homes, sign up for a free home solar evaluation, and find additional solar resources.
Four free workshops are scheduled in March to let people know how they can affordably plug into the sun. Interested homeowners are encouraged to attend one of the workshops to learn about the basics of solar, the different technologies being offered, and the available financial incentives:
- Tuesday, March 13, 6:30 – 8:00pm, West End Building, 4101 Kruse Way, Lake Oswego
- Wednesday, March 14, 6:30 – 8:00pm, Old Library, BP John Building, Marylhurst Univ.
- Monday, March 19, 6:30 – 8:00pm, West End Building, 4101 Kruse Way, Lake Oswego
- Wednesday, March 21, 6:30 – 8:00pm, Adult Community Center, 1180 Rosemont Road, West Linn
