Join the City of Lake Oswego Parks & Recreation Department for Petty Fever live at the Sounds of Summer Concerts. The concert takes place on Wednesday, July 27, from 7-9pm at Foothills Park. All concerts are free and family friendly.
PETTY FEVER features the talented and electrifying Guitarist/Vocalist, Frank Murray, who has rapidly gained a reputation as “The Premier Tom Petty Tribute Artist”. Murray is a well respected veteran Guitarist/Vocalist originally from Portland, Oregon and has performed with many well known bands throughout the Pacific NW over the past few decades. His uncanny visual, musical and vocal similarity to Tom Petty is remarkable and has proven to be the perfect combination for a persuasive and exciting tribute show. In February 2009 Murray formed Petty Fever by carefully assembling a band roster of veteran musicians that could assist in successfully recreating the sound and essence of a Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers concert. From that moment forward, Petty Fever has been providing a stunning salute to Tom Petty, performing over three decades of classic Petty hits, such as American Girl, Free Fallin’, Breakdown, Running Down a Dream, I Won’t Back Down, You Wreck Me and many more! They have been playing to enthusiastic crowds with overwhelming success at venues ranging from small theaters to arenas, and always leave the crowd craving more. If you’re looking for an incredibly authentic Tom Petty and Heartbreakers concert experience, Catch Petty Fever!
