Emergency Preparedness - City Council Videos

Emergencies and disasters can happen at any time. The City recognizes the importance of being prepared for an emergency and is committed to continuing its efforts to ensure a safe, secure, and prepared community.

It's important to remember that emergency preparedness is a collective effort. The City works to protect the public from the negative impacts of emergencies and disasters, including winter storms, earthquakes, flooding, fires and other events. This work includes preparing for, responding to, and recovering from emergencies and disasters.

Like local government, individuals must actively participate in managing their own risks and emergencies.

To help you prepare, Lake Oswego City Council put together a series of videos with helpful tips and suggestions.
