City of Lake Oswego Ordinance 2956 requires that businesses providing curbside collection of certain materials for recycling or reuse are required to obtain an Additional Recycling Collection Services License to operate in Lake Oswego.
At its December 17 meeting, City Council approved an adjustment to garbage, recycling, and organics collection service rates charged by Republic Services.
Customers will see an increase on their bi-monthly bills from Republic Services starting February 1, 2025.
You can recycle batteries curbside if you live in a single-family home with garbage and recycling services in Clackamas County.
The City of Lake Oswego no longer holds shred day events. Shredding services are offered by a number of local businesses year-round, such as UPS, Postal Annex, and Shred Northwest.
The City works in partnership with Clackamas County and Republic Services of Lake Oswego (formerly Allied Waste) to provide recycling and waste prevention resources for Lake Oswego businesses.
