Social Activity Groups

Are you looking for a way to stay active, make new friends, and give back to the community? The Lake Oswego Adult Community Center (ACC) offers a wide variety of social activity groups and charitable organizations for all adults. Whether you’re interested in learning something new or contributing to a good cause, there’s something here for everyone.

Social Activity Groups
The Adult Community Center organizes an extensive range of programs designed to bring people together. From classes and trips to weekly games and activities, you’ll find a complete listing of all our offerings at the Center. Interested in writing? Join the “Jottings from 5TH & G” group, where enthusiastic writers and inspired authors come together to contribute weekly articles to the Lake Oswego Review. Prefer games? Engage in lively sessions of Bridge, Scrabble, Pinochle, or Mah Jongg. Registration is free, with a suggested donation of $5 per player, per term.

Our term schedules are as follows:
  • Summer (May 1 - August 31)
  • Fall (September 1 - December 31)
  • Winter/Spring (January 1 - April 30)

Charitable Groups
If giving back to the community is more your style, consider joining one of our volunteer groups that provide valuable services to charitable causes. The “Creative Hands” group is perfect for crafty individuals who enjoy working on handicraft projects. Using donated materials, this group creates useful items that are then given to various non-profit organizations. It’s a fantastic way to use your skills for a good cause while connecting with like-minded individuals.
