Mayor and Council
Joe Buck grew up in the Lake Grove neighborhood and is actively engaged with community organizations. Professionally, Mayor Buck owns several local restaurants. He is a U.S. Coast Guard veteran and graduated from the University of Portland.
Ali Afghan has lived in Lake Oswego since 1990. He is a Registered Professional Engineer and has over 30 years of experience in facilities design and engineering, construction project management, and organizational leadership.
Trudy Corrigan is a community volunteer who has lived in Lake Oswego since 1991. Her professional background is in employee benefits consulting. While raising two children with her husband Kit, she actively volunteered in Lake Oswego schools and in the community.
Massene Mboup is an educational scholar and community volunteer. He is an immigrant from Senegal, West Africa. Massene and his wife Patricia moved to Lake Oswego in 2011 to create a French Immersion School.
Aaron Rapf was born and raised in Oregon; growing up in Lake Oswego and Raleigh Hills. Aaron is a marketing consultant who has served many large global consumer-goods companies where he has extensive experience with brand marketing, strategic planning, and budgeting.
Rachel Verdick is a Building Designer, local business owner, and community volunteer. She is a native Oregonian, growing up in southwest Portland who moved to Lake Oswego with her husband Jonathan Puskas in 2000.
