Temporary One-Way Traffic Along Lakeview Boulevard

Through summer, temporary one-way eastbound travel for vehicles and bikes is in place on Lakeview Boulevard, between South Shore Boulevard and Iron Mountain Boulevard. Two-way access remains open for pedestrians, but please use caution as it is an active construction zone and very constricted in some areas.

Travelers are advised to find alternate routes, plan extra travel time, and avoid the project area. Schedules and traffic adjustments are subject to change throughout construction of this major project.

Pavement Rehabilitation Begins this Spring

This spring, portions of Firwood Road, Oakridge Road, Crest Drive, Middlecrest Road, Glenmorrie Drive, Westview Circle, and Woodland Terrace will be paved. Paving may include extensive repair areas, grinding existing pavement, and a new overlay or pavement of the driving lanes. You may see roads with lane closures and flagged one-way traffic, or full road closures with detours for everyone’s safety. Schedules are subject to change due to weather.

Wastewater Treatment Facility Project

Lake Oswego, with Portland’s support, has been using a phased project approach to replace the aging Tryon Creek plant with an environmentally sustainable wastewater treatment facility, at a good value to the community. The first phase of the project is now complete, which included developing facility designs, preliminary permitting, and proposed pricing for the Wastewater Treatment Facility Project.

For the second phase of the project, Lake Oswego will explore a competitive procurement method using public financing, to complete the design, construct the facility, and operate and maintain the facility under a long-term contract.
