Library Card Sign-up Month

September is here, and that means we’re once again celebrating Library Card Sign-Up Month! Since 1987, Library Card Sign-Up Month has been held each September to mark the beginning of the school year. During the month, the American Library Association and libraries across the U.S. unite to encourage folks to sign up for library cards and learn more about all the neat things they can do at the library! 

In celebration, we will have candy, games, and the chance to win prizes at the front desk, for new library cardholders!  Last year, we challenged our community to see if we could get 300 people to sign up for a library card, and together we did it!!  Help us achieve an even higher number of sign-ups this year!  A library card unlocks endless opportunities for life-long learning.
