Library Services

In-Person Services
All three floors of Lake Oswego Public Library are open for browsing, computer access, holds pickup, and librarian assistance. Service hours are Monday-Thursday 10-7, Friday-Saturday 10-5, and Sunday 1-5. 

WiFi Access
Patrons can access WiFi inside the Library during open hours and in the Library parking lot from 6:00am-10:00pm daily.  

Wireless Printing
Wireless printing is available during open hours until 10 minutes before closing. Parons can pick up their prints inside the Library, at the 2nd floor Reference Desk. Read through the step-by-step detailed instructions.

Manage Your Account Online
Need to manage your account after hours or remotely? Use the numbers on the back of your library card, plus your four-digit PIN, to log in to your account online. You can renew books and more. Forgot your pin? You can reset it there, too.

Curbside Pickup
We are currently offering contact-less, curbside service for materials pickup as an alternative to entering the library building. We welcome all to use this service!

When you arrive at the library, please either park in the designated curbside parking space in front of the library, or wait on the brick area in front of the library and call 503-697-6582. This number is also listed on the permanent curbside sign near the parking space. A staff member will ask for your library card number, retrieve and check out your materials, and provide any further instruction over the phone. If you have any additional questions about this service, please contact the Circulation Department at 503-697-6582.

Materials-by-Mail
If you would like to have your materials mailed to you at no charge, please call the Circulation department at 503-697-6582. Staff will ask for your library card number, check out your materials, and mail them directly to your residence. If you are interested in having materials delivered directly and picked up from your residence, please see our Home Delivery option below.  

Home Delivery 
If circumstances prohibit you from visiting the library as often as you'd like, a volunteer can deliver library materials to your residence. You may choose your own titles or let a librarian select for you, according to your preferences. Please note that enrolling in Home Delivery services means that all materials you put on hold will be delivered to you and no longer available for pickup at the Library. Click here to learn more.  

Online Resources & Articles
The Lake Oswego Public Library offers a variety of services to connect patrons to e-books, downloadable audiobooks, and even streaming movies. Lake Oswego Library card holders also enjoy special access to databases, newspaper subscriptions, and online courses.
