There are many ways to contribute to the success of the Lake Oswego Public Library. Learn more about making monetary gifts to the Library, including memorials, planned giving, and one-time donations.
Our volunteers take part in making the library a thriving community center—contributing thousands of hours just last year—and we’re always looking for more help! Volunteers range in age from twelve to retired.
The Friends started as a support group in 1953 to help furnish a reading room for the library. In 1991, the Friends opened the Booktique, a used bookstore. Books are donated to the store by community members, and the store is staffed by volunteers.
