Code Enforcement

The responsibility to address Code Enforcement concerns varies based on the type of complaint.  The list below indicates what department and staff person to call. If you need assistance in resolving a conflict with a neighbor, please call our Public Information Office at 503-635-0257.  The Public Information staff can provide tools and offers mediation services. 

Note: Anonymous complaints will not be investigated. Contact information (preferable an email address) is required for the City to investigate a complaint. It is common practice for staff to contact a complainant to verify the location and specifics of a complaint as part of an investigation.
