The City of Lake Oswego is exploring possible incentives and education programs to encourage landscapers and residents to switch from gas-powered landscaping equipment to electric equipment. We are currently conducting a survey of landscaping companies, residents and property owners about their use of landscaping equipment.

Lake Oswego Sustainability Resource Fair

Join us on April 24 for the Lake Oswego Sustainability Resource Fair - and celebrate Earth Day!

Come learn about the work organizations across our community are doing to advance sustainability and find opportunities to volunteer. Kids can participate in arts and crafts and everyone can tour the new Lakeridge Middle School and its sustainable design features. There will also be a tree seedling giveaway!

PGE will also be holding an electric tool exchange where you can recycle your gas-powered yard tool and purchase an electric model. Take a step towards a clean energy future and receive up to $110 off select EGO brand electric tools!  Advance registration with PGE is required.

The resource fair is free and open to all.
