All Things Yarn
Thursday, March 21 drop in between 4:00-5:30 pm (lower level)
Have you always wanted to learn how to knit? Are you an experienced knitter who likes to hang out with friends while knitting? Either way, we’re here for you. We’ll provide the yarn and snacks, and the Teen Board will provide their expertise and patience.
Recommended for all ages 5-99
Teens/Tweens Get Crafty
First Thursdays, March 7 & April 4, 4:00-5:00
Join us on Early Release Thursdays once a month and get your creative juices flowing. We’re making space for you in the teen section, and want you to bring your great ideas and your friends (especially if they are in middle school).
March 7: Join us to make an amazing Hamsa Hand!
April 4: Make art using glue, salt and paint art, you'll be amazed by the results!
Super Smash Bros Brawl Tournament!
Friday, April 5th, 2-4 p
Schools Out! Come to the library and show off your mad skills, we'll have brackets, prizes and snacks!
Lower level, grades 6 & up!
Make Your Own Sushi
Tuesday, April 16, 3:30 - 5 p
Chefs from Benihana Restaurant will teach you how to make your own California rolls and candy sushi. Learn about Japanese cuisine and dining etiquette. (Please note: Parents must sign a waiver, which is available on our website LOPL.org/teens or at the Library.)
Recommended for grades 6-12.
Teen After Hours @ the Library!
Friday, May 31, 6 - 8:30 p
Teens, stay late at the library, play games, get a henna, sing karaoke, eat pizza, escape from a breakout room, and so much more! We're staying late so you get to have fun and be the first to sign up for the Teen Summer Reading Program!
Drop off btn - 6-6:30

Pizza Delivery & Fun is Had - 6:30-8
Pick up - 8-8:30
