Well Wishes: A Volunteer Letter & Card Writing Party for Teens

Well Wishes is a volunteer letter and card writing party for teens interested in spreading joy! Participants will gather in the children’s library before we open to the public and write uplifting correspondence to folks who could use some encouragement. Teens can make and decorate cards that will be sent to kids through Cards for Hospitalized Children, or they can write letters that will be sent to senior citizens through Letters Against Isolation. Guidelines for both will be provided. (Can you speak and write in Spanish? Both organizations also welcome messages written in Spanish!) We’ll provide the snacks, you bring the positive vibes! You can earn 1.5 volunteer hours for participating in this program. Due to the special scheduling of this program, teens will be admitted between 11:20 and 11:40 via the north entrance of the library in the parking lot. Look for our signs!
