Notes: [photo in Review newspaper-dated 1959] "1859-1959 Oswego and Oregon's Centennial. These two buildings were on the corner of State and B where the Oswego Shell service now is located. Arthur "Red" McVey loaned this picture to the Review. By checking with some old timers he learned that the DeBew hotel [sic] was built in about 1880. The Oswego Billiard hall next door included a bar. For a time a butcher shop was also located there. Red didn't know when this picture was taken, but thinks about 1886. Who can identify any of the people here? One is said to be Peter DeBew." See photo 2301a.
