Designs are complete and construction is expected to start in mid-February 2025. Throughout design the project team and City staff have been reaching out to neighbors to discuss issues, work through concerns, and gather information to help shape the design. 

Past Meetings

Meet the Contractor Meeting - January 28, 2025 | 6-8 p.m.

On Tuesday, January 28, the project team held a Meet the Contractor meeting with the community. Thank you to everyone for participating and attending the meeting! 

Community members had an opportunity to meet representatives from Knife River (general contractor) and Turney Excavating (subcontractor). There was a brief informal presentation held at the beginning of the meeting, followed by a Q & A session and opportunity to meet the project team members.

Community Meeting - September 19, 2023 | 6:30-8 p.m.

We held our second community meeting on September 19, 2023 to discuss preliminary project designs and seek feedback from the community. Thank you for your continued interest and involvement!

A presentation was held at the meeting. Community input on the current concepts will help us move forward with designs. 

Open House - June 13, 2023 | 6-7:30 p.m.

The City and project team held our first community open house on June 13, 2023. Thank you for joining us to share your feedback and input on preliminary design concepts. 

Maps and initial concept graphics of the corridor were display at the open house. We are now processing the comments and here is a summary.

Community input received on the concepts will help the City and project team move forward with designs.
