Donate to LOPL
Lake Oswego loves its library. It enriches the lives of everyone in our community, regardless of age or economic circumstance. Donating to the Lake Oswego Public Library is a way for people who believe in the power of public libraries to change lives and to help keep our library strong. All donations are tax-deductible.
NEW! Library supporters now have the option to make a donation via credit card. Just click the donate button to get started. If you have any trouble making a donation, please contact Nancy Niland at nniland@lakeoswego.city or 503-675-2538 for prompt and friendly assistance.
Memorial Gifts
When you contribute $25 or more to the Lake Oswego Public Library, your name or the name of the person or pet you wish to honor and remember will be printed on a bookplate and placed in a new item.
General and Endowment Gifts
General donations or gifts to the endowment fund can be made by people who enjoy the Lake Oswego Public Library and want to contribute a gift but do not have a specific purpose in mind other than the overall enrichment and future of the Library.
Planned Giving
Planned gifts provide the resources to create extraordinary opportunities while preserving the future of the Lake Oswego Public Library. There are a number of planned giving options, ranging from naming the Lake Oswego Public Library as a beneficiary in your will to a more complex trust arrangement. Please contact the Library Director if you wish to leave a bequest or other planned giving arrangement to benefit the Library and future generations.
