Farm Fresh Kids
The Farm Fresh Kids Passport to Healthy Living
A Fun Adventure Awaits at the Market
The Lake Oswego Farmers’ Market Farm Fresh Kids Program is a fun, hands-on way for kids to learn about healthy eating, local food, and farm life right at the market!
Designed especially for young market-goers, this weekly program encourages exploration, curiosity, and connection to where our food comes from, all while having fun with family and friends.
How It Works
Each market day, kids can stop by the Market Information Booth to pick up their Farm Fresh Kids Passport.
With passport in hand, it’s time to explore the market and complete three fun activities to earn stamps and market tokens.
Weekly Activities Include
Question of the Day
A simple, kid-friendly question that builds knowledge about healthy foods, farming, and sustainability.
Find the Apple Mascots: Betty & Roni
Kids search for Betty and Roni as they’re hidden among vendor booths throughout the market.
Farm Fresh Kids Booth Activity
Hands-on games and activities that bring lessons about nutrition, farming, and sustainable living to life.
Earn, Learn & Taste
Complete all three activities to earn three passport stamps (one per activity).
Each stamp earns a $1 market token (maximum of $3 per market).
Return to the Information Booth to receive tokens and drop off the passport for the next market visit.
Redeem tokens for fresh fruits and vegetables at the market.
Market tokens are a fun way to encourage kids to try new healthy foods or enjoy their favorite fruits and vegetables.
We love seeing our youngest market fans learning, exploring, and discovering all that the farmers’ market has to offer. We can’t wait to see your family at the market!
Sponsored through a generous grant from Clackamas County Soil and Water Conservation District!
