Jury Summons

If you receive a jury summons from the Lake Oswego Municipal Court, please respond within one week to let us know if you are able to serve as a juror.

We recognize that jury service is an inconvenience for most people, and a hardship for some. It requires a sacrifice of time by jurors, as well as their families, coworkers, and employers. It is also an integral part of the democratic process that protects all of our individual rights, ensures that trials are fair, and puts the power of the justice system directly into the hands of community members. On behalf of the City of Lake Oswego, we give special thanks to those who participate in this important process.

Trial Schedule 

Jury Trials are usually scheduled on Wednesdays, and almost always conclude the same day.

If you are called for jury duty, please report to the Municipal Court Clerk's Office no later than 8:15 a.m. on the morning of the trial.

Our Jury Line will be updated regularly with any important updates or last minute trial cancelations. That number is 503-635-0398. We recommend calling at 6 p.m. the night before you are scheduled for Jury Duty to confirm that the trial has not been canceled.
