Special Event Permit Application
We currently are not taking applications for new special events that occur outside of the reservation season (April 1 - September 30).

Applications may be submitted once a venue and date have been identified. Premier Park Reservation applications will start being accepted the first business day in February (2/3).

The Special Event Application must be submitted at least 60 days before the event that incudes full plans (i.e. insurance, traffic plan, layout of event, type and number of vendors, entertainment, itinerary, etc.)

The permit Fee is $210.
What is a Special Event?
Special Events are gatherings/events that involve a large group of people (compared to the usual occupancy of the site), and
- Are advertised to the public and do not occur regularly on the site (LOC 20.06.500); or
- Impact or use City streets (including curb or parking lane), sidewalks, and public rights-of-way; or
- Use City facilities or property (i.e., city buildings, parks, and parking lots).
Examples: road race, bike race, walk, parade, festival, market, carnival, and concert.
Permit Application Requirements
- Special Events require a permit issued by the City.
- Complete the Special Event Application under "Related Links"
- Review the Guide to Obtaining a Special Event Permit for all the information needed to complete the application
- Use the Special Event Application Checklist to complete the application
- Additional documents may also be required.
Additional Information
After receipt of the Special Event Permit Application, you may be contacted by affected City departments if additional information is needed or to discuss the specific plans to accommodate the Event and its impact upon the public generally.
Any changes to the event must be submitted and approved at least 14 days in advance of the event.
