Lake Oswego Police Seek Information Related to Vandalism

LAKE OSWEGO – On Saturday, March 8, 2025, between 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm, an unknown suspect damaged a vehicle in the public parking lot located at 11 Foothills Road, near State Street.

When the victim returned to their vehicle, they found a note that was left on their vehicle from an anonymous witness who reportedly saw the incident occur.

Lake Oswego Police are asking to hear from that anonymous witness, in particular, and from anyone else who may have seen someone damaging a vehicle in that parking lot during this two-hour window.

UPDATE: Lake Oswego Home Damaged By Gunfire

LAKE OSWEGO – Between 3:30 AM and 4:30 AM on Friday, February 21, 2025 police responded to reports of gunshots heard in the 13000-block of Melrose Place, in the Westlake neighborhood of Lake Oswego. An unknown suspect fired several rounds into the home from close range and left the area on foot.

Detectives believe the driver of the car pictured below, a dark colored 2019 or newer Toyota Rav4 may have information about this incident. This person is not believed to be a suspect. If you can help identify the driver or vehicle, please contact the Lake Oswego Police.

UPDATE: Lake Oswego Home Damaged By Gunfire

LAKE OSWEGO – Between 3:30 AM and 4:30 AM on Friday, February 21, 2025 police responded to reports of gunshots heard in the 13000-block of Melrose Place, in the Westlake neighborhood of Lake Oswego (map included below). An unknown suspect fired several rounds into the home from close range and left the area on foot.

The image below is believed to be the suspect, seen wearing all dark clothes with a possible hoodie or ski mask, and carrying a light-colored object in his hand. Police believe the suspect had a vehicle parked nearby.

Lake Oswego Home Damaged By Gunfire

LAKE OSWEGO – In the early morning of Friday, February 21, 2025 Lake Oswego Police responded to reports of gunshots heard in the 13000-block of Melrose Place. During the investigation, officers discovered damage to a front door of a home that was caused by gunfire. Fortunately, there were no injuries and only minor damage to the home.

Police Conduct Investigation Involving Commissioner-Elect

LAKE OSWEGO, OR – Information has recently been circulating about an investigation by the Lake Oswego Police Department into allegations against Clackamas County Commissioner-Elect Melissa Fireside. She has not been charged with any crimes, but we can confirm that there is an active investigation involving Ms. Fireside.

As this continues to be an ongoing investigation, we will not discuss the details of the case so as to maintain the integrity of the investigation as well as the rights of those involved.

SWAT Standoff Ends in Arrest After Woman Robs Shell Gas Station

LAKE OSWEGO, OR – On Friday, October 11, 2024, at 11:30 P.M., 47-year-old Lake Oswego resident, Brynne Logan was arrested for Robbery 1, Menacing, and Theft 3, after she robbed the Shell gas station at 16211 Boones Ferry Road.
