How to Report Bias-Based Policing or "Profiling"
Lake Oswego Police policy provides guidance to department members and establishes appropriate controls to ensure that members of the Lake Oswego Police Department do not engage in racial or bias-based profiling or violate any related laws while serving the community (2015 Oregon Laws c 681 § 2).
The Lake Oswego Police Department will investigate all complaints of alleged bias-based policing complaints against its members. You can file reports/complaints of Bias-Based Policing or "profiling" directly to a supervisor at the police department at (503) 635-0238 or through the Law Enforcement Coordinating Committee (LECC). You may call LECC staff at (503) 725-5221.
