Thank you to all students who participated in the Oregon Mayors Association’s annual 'If I Were Mayor contest'! We appreciate the time, creativity, and thoughtfulness you brought to your submissions.
This year, more than 60 entries were submitted. After careful review, first-, second-, and third-place winners were selected, along with honorable mentions, in three categories: Posters (grades 4–5), Essays (grades 6–8), and Digital Media (grades 9–12).
Congratulations!

Heroes walk among us daily and we want to recognize and show appreciation to those who are deserving.
If you know someone or a group, who was a hero long-term or short term, we want to hear from you!
HelloLO is the official City of Lake Oswego newsletter. It is mailed every month to all households and businesses within City limits.
In 2026, the City will not be holding its Lake Oswego Photo Contest.
Over the next year, we will be reviewing the contest’s categories, rules, criteria and budget. We hope to resume the contest in 2027.
