2026 Summer Trip Cancellation & Refund Policy

Each overnight trip offered by the ACC has distinct refund guidelines that depend on the reservation and cancellation policies of the respective hotels and accommodations involved. These policies can differ considerably, influencing the refund percentage based on your cancellation timing. Therefore, it is essential for participants to review the specific refund conditions for each trip when booking.

General Guidelines:

  • Prepaid Expenses: Refunds are not available for trips with expenses prepaid by the ACC (such as lodging deposits, event tickets, or administrative fees) unless a replacement participant is found.
  • Standard LOPR Policy: For all other trips, or if the ACC has not yet incurred specific prepaid expenses for your spot, the standard Lake Oswego Parks & Recreation (LOPR) refund policy applies.

Trip-Specific Deadlines: 

To receive a refund (less any non-refundable prepaid deposits), notice of cancellation must be received by the ACC office in writing by 5:00 PM on the dates listed below. The timing of your cancellation in relation to these dates will affect the refund amount you receive:

Walla Walla

  • Cancellation Deadline for Refund: Monday, June 1, 2026
  • Non-Refundable Amount: $150.00 (Prepaid Wine Event Ticket)

Whidbey Island

  • Cancellation Deadline for Refund: Friday, June 19, 2026

Joseph/Wallowa Lake

  • Cancellation Deadline for Refund: Friday, August 7, 2026

Note: Refunds requested after these specified dates are only possible if a replacement participant is secured and pays in full.

For all other trips, the following policy applies: Refunds are not available for trips with expenses prepaid by the ACC unless a replacement participant is found. Otherwise, trips are eligible for refunds in accordance with the standard Lake Oswego Parks and Recreation (LOPR) refund policy.
